The Ministry of National Defense says that in the past day and night, as a result of the operation of the security and defense forces in several provinces of the country, they have inflicted heavy casualties on the Taliban.
The Ministry of National Defense announced today (Saturday, 16 Asad) that 385 Taliban fighters were killed in the last day and night as a result of clashes and counterattacks by the defense and security forces.
The ministry also added that during this period, 210 more fighters of this group were injured and a large amount of their weapons and ammunition were also destroyed.
According to the Ministry of National Defense, these Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in the provinces of Nangarhar, Logar, Ghazni, Paktika, Maidan Wardak, Kandahar, Herat, Farah, Jawzjan, Samangan, Helmand, Takhar, Baghlan and Kapisa.
This is while in the last week, fighters have carried out large-scale attacks on the centers of important provinces such as Kandahar, Helmand, Herat and Nimroz.
Yesterday, it was reported that as a result of Taliban attacks, the city of Zaranj, the capital of Nimroz province, fell to the Taliban. Also, pictures have been published on social networks that show that public property is being looted in this province.
