Tennessee politicians have introduced a bill to ban homosexuals marriage. According to WTHR Channel 13, Sen. Mark Peddie and Jerry Saxon, both of whom are Republicans.
They have launched a project under the name "Tennessee Law", the purpose of which is to support "natural marriage". This bill foresees a ban on homosexuals marriage, which defines marriage as a union "between one man and one woman, regardless of court decisions to the contrary."
This is the fourth time politicians are trying to pass this bill. Earlier in 2015, the United States Supreme Court upheld homosexuals marriage as a constitutional right of citizens nationwide.
